Everyone loves to start the day off with music that’s gentle on the ears right? Well hopefully that’s the case because that’s exactly what we have for you today. This new release from Rachael Boyd on Bad Panda Records has been my wake up tune since it cropped up in my feed the other day and I haven’t been able to get enough. Luring us in with a whimsical string intro we then hear added instrumental elements eek their way to build up the true body of this song. As the drums pick up behind the strings we have spun into a whirlwind of lullaby like rhythms that couldn’t get the day off on a better foot. This talented producer from the UK has taken to melding the sounds of contemporary classical music with electronic elements in a way unlike most. With most electronic elements falling into the background it is easy to get yourself lost in Rachael Boyd’s latest single ‘Go Backwards Now!’.
