Gravitas Recordings has been one of my go-to’s for a while now when it comes to the realms of all things spacey, bassy, and out of this world. Today they keep the ball rolling by debuting the second edition of ‘Virtus In Sonus’; a strong collection of music whose translation represents “Power in Sound” or “Virtue through Sound”. This twenty two track compilation has wrangled in producers from all around this beautiful planet of ours to present us with the undulating variation heard throughout this release. Now I won’t go into naming off each person who contributed, as I don’t want to leave anyone out, but you can really hear how every artists contribution formed ‘Virtus In Sonus II’ as a whole. As you listen through some of these names might pop out at you as familiar artists in your library but we really hope you trip over some of the unknown producers featured on this pay what you’d like release. Spanning from spaced out astral rhythms to gear crunching, gut busting, and mind warbling bass I’m almost positive everyone out there can find something to please themselves with on this new installment of the ‘Virtus In Sonus’ series.
